The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, 100m W of townland boundary with Mitchelstowndown North. An enclosure (LI048-023----) lies 120m to the NE. Not marked on historic OSi maps. Identified as a ring-barrow from examination of Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photograph (BGE 1:5000 No. 2572) taken 03/11/1984. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 or on Google Earth orthoimages.
