The National Monuments Service's description
In wet pasture, 130m N of Morningstar and 260m E of Ballynahinch House. A rectangular enclosure (LI048-019----) lies 70m to the SE. Not marked on historic OSi maps. Faint outline of rectangular-shaped earthwork visible on oblique aerial photograph taken 21/07/1967 (CUCAP ADT057). Monument visible as a rectangular-shaped area (dims. c. 40m NW-SE; 40 NE-SW) defined by a scarp with wide fosse (Wth c. 8m) on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages. A relic watercourse is visible running NW-SW to the W of the monument. Possible moated site or landscape feature associated with Ballynahinch House.
