The National Monuments Service's description

In reclaimed pasture 115m E of a roadway that marks the townland boundary with Tobernae West. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a circular enclosure. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised oval-shaped area (dims. c. 29m NE-SW; 26m NW-SE) defined by a scarp with fosse and external bank from SE-S-W-N. Truncated at E by stream running N-S and intersected at S by field boundary running E-W. Outline of scrub-covered monument visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
