The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture 50m W of the townland boundary with Millmount. Associated with site of Millmount Castle (LI074-026002-) which was located in centre of earthwork. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised sub-rectangular-shaped platform (dims. c. 33m NE-SW; 15m NW-SE) truncated at N by railway track running NE-SW. Faint trace of linear cropmark running NE-SW visible on Google Earth orthoimages. Earthwork may represent the remains of a bawn or enclosure associated with the levelled Millmount Castle.
See attached Google Earth orthoimages.
