The precise location of Laurence Miagh’s Castle on John’s St has not been identified. Described in the Urban Survey (Bradley et. al. 1989, 152) as following; 'Laurence Miagh’s Castle. John’s St. This was on the west side of the street the town wall lay to its west'.
