In NW quadrant of graveyard (LI046-023002-). Ruin of probably rectangular church (int.: 6.2m N-S; surviving for 14.55m E-W) though E wall entirely missing; it was gone in 1840 (OSL vol. 2, 35). Built of uncoursed limestone blocks in a lime mortar. Surviving walls stand to full height but are encased in ivy. Only evident feature is doorway near W end of S wall. The door surround is limestone, chamfered on the outside edge, with a two-centred pointed arch; lower jamb-stones missing since 1840s (ibid.) but this area now crudely encased in concrete. Doorway inside is square-set and covered by a flat wicker-centred vault; on W side is large well-cut hanging eye. Doorway is later medieval in character. Remains of parish church of Cloncoura (Westropp 1904-5, 422-3).
