The National Monuments Service's description
In flat marshy pasture. Circular area (20m N-S; 22m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.7m) SSW->NE, and defined by scarped edge (H 0.2m; Wth 2m) NE->SSW. There is an external fosse (D 0.25m; Wth 2.6m) E->NE, but which is truncated by field boundary skirting enclosure NE->E. Break in bank (Wth 2.7m) at W. Interior level and under pasture.
