The National Monuments Service's description
In hay meadow, in level terrain. Circular area (24m N-S; 23m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.5m) with external fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 3.2m). Enclosing element truncated NE->SE by a N-S field boundary which has a deep drain on its W side. Entire site under tall grass.
