The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, sloping down gently to N. Site is depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on S bank of stream on 1841 OS 6-inch map; on 1924 OS 6-inch map arc of enclosing bank shown only NE->SW, but replaced by river bank NW->NE and by field boundary SW->NW. Field boundary and enclosing bank now levelled. Shallow fosse (D 0.15m; Wth 1.2m) defines arc of enclosure NE->SW. Steep fall down to W in ground level follows line of removed field boundary on W side. Sharp fall down to river defines N side. Roughly circular area enclosed by these features (33.5m N-S; 26m E-W) is level and under grass.
