The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture. Roughly circular area (c. 40m N-S; c. 36m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.3m; ext. H 2.7m) NE->NW and defined by a scarped edge (H 1.9m; Wth 6.8m) NW->NE, with external fosse (Wth 2.2m; D 0.75m) NE->NNW. Outer edge of fosse has recently been re-cut at NE. Interior level, and most of it is covered by dense overgrowth.
