The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1924 OS 6-inch map, is now largely covered by dense overgrowth. However, parts of enclosing element were accessed showing site defined by scarped edge (H 1m; Wth 2m) with slight inner lip (int. H 0.15m), and with external fosse (D 0.5m; Wth 3m). Gap across scarp at NE. In line with gap is linear depression extending outwards from outer edge of fosse; however, this feature is masked by dense overgrowth.
