The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture. Circular area (diam. 25m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.65m) with external fosse (D 0.35m; Wth 2.6m). Gap in bank (Wth 2.6m) at ESE. Immediately on SE side is rectangular annex (18m NW-SE; 14m NE-SW) enclosed by fosse of enclosure on NW side and by extension of fosse (D 0.25; Wth 2m) on NE and SE sides; on SW side defined by steep fall in ground level. Interior is level and under pasture.
