The National Monuments Service's description
In level dry pasture. Roughly circular area (diam. 27m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 0.2m), with external fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.3m) S->E. Field boundaries truncate fosse SW->W and NE->SE. A rectangular area (c. 5m N-S; c. 5m E-W) has been cut into edge of site at E. Interior is lower than surrounding field level and is waterlogged.
