The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture. Sub-circular area (25m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.45m), with an external fosse (Wth 2.6m; D 0.7m) SSW->SSE. Breaks in bank at E (Wth 3.6m) and NNW (Wth 1.4m). Stream runs along line of fosse SSE->SSW. Interior level and under grass.
