The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture 100m S of a watercourse that marks the townland boundary with Knocklong East. A possible barrow (LI041-041----) lies 63m to SW and an earthwork (LI041-006----) 80m to SE. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as the cropmark of a possible barrow on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000 2573) taken 03/11/1984. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophotos or on Google Earth orthoimages.
