The National Monuments Service's description

In reclaimed pasture, 145m SW of townland boundary with Ballinstona North, two possible ditch-barrows (LI040-274/294----) lie 115m to the NW and 116m to the NE respectively. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 143, AP 5/2115) as a circular cropmark of a possible barrow. Trace of monument visible as a circular cropmark (diam. c. 5m) intersected at E by a linear cropmark running NE-SW on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-2012 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 28/06/2018.

See attached Bruff photograph labelled 143 and Google Earth orthoimages.
