In pasture,165m E of townland boundary with Baggotstown East, a possible mound (LI040-272----) lies 165m to the S. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 149, AP 5/2104) as the circular cropmark of a possible enclosure. Trace of monument visible as a circular cropmark (diam. c. 35m) on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-2012. No surface remains visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
