The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, 45m E of townland boundary with Ballycahill and 95m W of townland boundary with Knocklong, an earthwork (LI040-227----) lies 225m to the SE. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 144; AP 5/2124) as a circular cropmark of a possible barrow. Monument visible as a circular-shaped area (diam. c. 4m) defined by a fosse on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 14/09/2019.
