The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, 120m E of Morningstar River that forms townland boundary with Gormanstown. A possible ditch-barrow (LI040-162----) lies 25m to the NW. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as a possible enclosure by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 86.02; AP 5/2106). No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 or on Google Earth orthoimages. Possible trace of monument visible as a raised area outlined by partial cropmark at N, intersected at W by a relic watercourse running N-S on Google Earth orthoimage taken 19/03/2015.
