The National Monuments Service's description
In rough reclaimed pasture, immediately S of a field system (LI040-217----). Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as a rectangular cropmark by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 95; AP 5/2104). Monument visible as a rectangular cropmark (dims. c. 66m N-S x 70m E-W) intersected at N by a post-1700 field boundary running E-W on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on the Google Earth orthoimage dated 14/09/2019. The Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/03/2018 clearly shows the rectangular cropmark which is defined at S and E by relic field boundaries running N-S and E-W. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map where it is truncated at E and W by two relic watercourses running roughly N-S.
See attached Bruff survey image showing cropmark labelled Bruff 95 and Google Earth orthoimages.
