Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 139.05; AP 5/2109) as a large irregular-shaped cropmark. Monument visible as a large roughly sub-rectangular shaped area (dims. c. 67m NW-SE x 120m NE-SW) defined by a scarp with water-filled fosse on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
