The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, 23m W of townland boundary with Knockainey West and 20m N of townland boundary with Rathanny. Identified as a possible rectangular-shaped earthwork by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 69; AP 5/2075). Faint cropmark visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13. Irregular shaped area visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 9/20/2020, may be natural pond.
