In a clearance in centre of modern coniferous plantation, a possible barrow (LI040-127002-) lies 20m to the NW. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as a circular feature on aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000 2571, Site No. 040230) taken 03/11/1984 on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Faint trace visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-13. Partial outline of circular feature visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 20/03/2018.
