The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture, 180m S of townland boundary with Elton. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as a sub-circular shaped earthwork on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000, Strip Map 4, Site 4/24) taken 03/11/1984. Monument visible as a raised sub-circular shaped area (dims. c. 32m N-S; 25m E-W) intersected at N by a relic watercourse running E-W on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 19/04/2019.
