The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture 75m NW of church site (LI040-073001-) and graveyard (LI040-073002-). Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a rectangular enclosure (site No. 040208) during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000 2558) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann gas pipeline. Outline of rectangular-shaped cropmark (dims. c. 70m N-S x 80m E-W) visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. No surface remains visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 14/09/2020. Could be the remains of a large field of post-1700 date. Of doubtful antiquity.
