The National Monuments Service's description

In reclaimed pasture 115m NW of the ruins of Gormanstown Castle (LI040-066003-). Enclosure (LI040-066001-) lies to immediate SW. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 110; AP 5/2118) as a possible enclosure. Outline of monument visible as a roughly circular-shaped cropmark (diam. c. 32m) on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 where it is intersected at SW by field drain running NW-SE. Partial outline of possible earthwork visible on Digital Globe orthophoto taken 2011-13. Faint cropmark visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 14/09/2019 with drainage ditches located to NW and SE.
