The National Monuments Service's description

In reclaimed pasture 45m E of a farm access road. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a potential ring-barrow on Bord Gáis Éireann aerial photograph (BGE 1:5000, 2553 Site No. 040291) taken 03/11/1984. Listed by Grogan (1989, Vol. 2, 232) as Gormanstown (Phillips) 4. Visible as a circular-shaped cropmark truncated at NW by a linear field drain running NE-SW on Google Earth orthoimage dated 14/09/2019.
