The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture 30m W of the townland boundary with Gormanstown (Phillips). Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a rectangular-shaped enclosure on examination Bord Gáis Éireann aerial photographs taken 03/11/1984. Outline of monument is visible as a rectangular-shaped area (dims. 42m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by a fosse from W to N only and transected at E by a road and at S by post-1700 field boundary on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Outline of possible rectangular-shaped earthwork is visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 14/09/2019.
