In rough wet pasture, in the centre of a group of barrows (LI040-049001-/005-; LI040-049007-/011-) and enclosure (LI040-049008-). Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible site (No. 040245) identified as a small circular cropmark to the N of a dried-up watercourse during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000, 2551) taken 03/11/1984 on Bórd Gáis Éireann gas pipeline. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Trace of monument visible as a circular cropmark (diam. c. 6m) to the N of watercourse running NW-SE and immediately E of drainage ditch running NE-SW on Google Earth orthoimage date 28/06/2018.
