In reclaimed pasture, in S quadrant of a group of barrows (LI040-048001-/048002; 048004-/006-). Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible ring-barrow listed by Grogan (1989, 250) as 'Tankardstown 4'. Possible monument visible on aerial photograph (BGE 1/5000, 2549) taken 11/09/1982 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-2012. Faint trace of small circular cropmark visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 29/03/2012.
