The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture sloping gently to NE, a possible barrow (LI040-015----) lies 140m to the SW. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified by Tarbett (1989, 7) as one of two ring-barrows, ‘Ringbarrow B’ and described as follows; ‘This poorly surviving barrow is located in the lower NE quadrant of the same field next to the roadway. The interior platform of the barrow is circular and slightly raised above the surrounding ground level. It is outlined by a shallow fosse, 10cm deep, which can only be traced at the N, SE and SW. An enclosing low sized bank is visible at the N and SW measuring no more than 20cm in height. No bank or ditch can be traced at the NE. This barrow, larger than the former (LI040-015----) measures 12m in diameter. A later bank orientated from E-W partially cuts through the enclosing bank of the monument at the South.’ Possible faint trace of monument visible as circular cropmark on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-12. No surface remains visible on Google Earth orthoimages. Uncertain about location of monument on the Historic Environment Viewer.
