The National Monuments Service's description
Monument described by O'Kelly (1944, 18) as following; 'A rectangular earthen platform surrounded by a fosse. The entrance is not recognisable. Its greatest height over the field is 4' [1.2m] and it measures overall 102' [31m] N.-S. by 86' [26m]'.
