The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture 400m E of a conifer forestry plantation. Not depicted as an antiquity on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map where it is shown as a sub-rectangular shaped field. It is depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a roughly rectangular-shaped area (dims. c. 42m NW-SE; 38m NE-SW) enclosed by a bank along the line of existing field boundary from W-S-E reduced to a scarp at N, with external fosse at E. Surveyed by Henry A. Wheeler in 1965 and described as a square-shaped field of no archaeological significance. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 or on Google Earth orthoimage dated 14/09/2019.
