The National Monuments Service's description
Ó Danachair (1955, 210) recorded the following details about Trinity Well; ‘A strong spring issuing from the rock, roughly covered with slabs of stone. Devotions are still made occasionally; formerly large crowds came on the Saturday before Trinity Sunday'.
