The National Monuments Service's description
In improved pasture 100m W of the townland boundary with Dromacummer West. Not depicted as an antiquity on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map but shown as an oval-shaped earthwork. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OS 25-inch map as a raised circular-shaped area (diam. c. 18m) defined by a scarp. Outline of the monument respected by curving drainage ditch from N-E-S. No surface remains visible of levelled earthwork on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Visible as a slight hollow with possible water channel/ditch running out of SW side on Google Earth orthoimage taken 19/03/2015.
See attached Google Earth orthoimages.
