The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, immediately E of N20 and 71m N of townland boundary with Ballyfookeen. Possible ring -barrow (LI039-053----) 290m to NW. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a small mound enclosed by a wide fosse. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as sub-circular-shaped platform (dims. c. 29m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by a scarp and enclosed by 2 banks with intervening fosse and external fosse. Much denuded banks and ditches of monument, with scrub-covered interior visible on the OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-22 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/09/2020. Outline of enclosing elements clearly visible on aerial photographs (ASIAP (306) 8, 11) taken 13/09/2002.
