The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture, 398m SE of Morningstar River and 480m SW of Glebe House. Annotated ‘Monaraha Fort’ on OSi historic maps. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as circular shaped platform defined by a scarp and intersected at SE by a post-1700 field boundary running NE-SW. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as roughly oval-shaped platform (dims. c. 29m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by a scarp, truncated from SSE-S by a post-1700 field boundary running NE-SW. Outline of levelled monument visible as an oval-shaped cropmark on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
