The National Monuments Service's description

On the W verge of a pasture field, immediately E of a stream. A mound of 'burnt stones' was removed from here in 1960 as part of a land reclamation scheme (OPW). The location is now masked by dense vegetation overgrowth with no evident trace of a mound or burnt stones.
