The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture overlooking valley to N, adjacent to 038-135--- which lies to the N. Rectangular area (40m N-S; 24.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.6m) with external fosse (D 1.6m). Both enclosing element and interior heavily overgrown. Known locally as "the Moat".
