The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope in generally undulating terrain. Circular area (diam. 26m) defined by scarped edge (H 2.75m; Wth 6m) with external fosse (Wth 2.4m; D 1.45m). Enclosing element is masked by dense overgrowth and only accessible along S side. Enclosure is fenced off from adjacent pasture field SE->NW and skirted by field boundary along E side. Fosse is best preserved along W side, but shallows and narrows along S arc (Wth 1.25m; D 0.45m). Level interior, covered with nettles, has recently been planted with deciduous trees along verges.
