The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture, on SE slopes of Knockfeerina mountain. Roughly circular area (c. 35m E-W; c. 40m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.45m; ext. H 2.1m). A field boundary skirts around enclosure so that site is contained within small field which is completely covered by a thorn thicket.
