The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture. Rectangular area (25m N-S; 40m E-W) defined by scarped edge (ext. H 0.25m) with internal fosse (Base Wth. 1.00m) and intermediate earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.55m); external fosse (Base Wth. 0.80m; D 0.25m) SE->NE. Possible original entrance (Wth. 4m) through bank at W. Field drain runs along line of external fosse NE->SE. Intermediate bank incorporated into field boundary with external fosse re-cut as field drain SE->SW. Interior level and clear of overgrowth.
