The National Monuments Service's description

In level pasture. Circular area (diam. 52m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.2m; ext. H 3.1m) with external fosse (D 1.9m; Wth 4.8m). Break in bank (Wth. 1.8m) with causeway (Wth. 3.8m) across fosse at N. Fosse infilled with refuse W->NW; otherwise it is waterlogged. Interior level and covered by mature sycamore and whitethorn trees.
