The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope. Roughly circular area (68m E-W; 72m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.25m) with an external fosse (D 0.15m; Wth 1m). Field boundary runs along outer line of fosse WNW->SSE. Roughly rectangular raised platform (24m N-S; 38m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 0.4m; Wth 2.4m) in SE quadrant of interior against inner base of bank.
