The National Monuments Service's description

In reclaimed grassland, on the demesne lands of Killeline House located 110m to WNW. Outline of roughly-circular-shaped area (diam. c. 32m) enclosed by a low bank with circular shaped depression visible on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12 and on Digital Globe orthophoto dated 2011-13. Outline of earthwork with rush-covered depression visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 06/10/2010. Close proximity to Killeline House may suggest that this earthwork represents the remains of a designed landscape feature such as a tree-ring rather than that of a ringfort.
