The National Monuments Service's description

In level meadow. Oval area (15m NNW-SSE; 20m WNW-ESE) defined by scarped edge (H 0.1m; Wth 2.5m) with external fosse (D 0.35m; Wth 6.5m). Entrance (Wth c. 6m) as SSE and breach in scarp (Wth 2m) at N. Fosse partially covered by yellow flags (iris pseudacorus).
