The National Monuments Service's description

In level pasture. Roughly rectangular raised area (45.2m NNE-SSW; 72.5m WNW-ESE) defined by a scarped edge with inner lip (int. H 0.35m; ext. H 1.3m) NNE->SE and scarped edge SE->NNE. Possible external fosse (D 0.85m) NNW->SSE could be quarry for earthen field boundaries. Scarped edge incorporated into field boundary SSE->NW; boundary skirts external base of scarped edge E->SE. Interior level; earthen bank (H 0.25m) crosses interior NNE-SSW to E of centre.
