The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on NE-facing slope of a low rise. Circular area (20m N-S; 20.65m E-W) defined by a scarped edge (H 0.85m; Wth 1.25m) with an external fosse (D 0.55m; Wth 2.05m); fosse is covered by dense overgrowth. Field boundary runs along outer line of fosse W->NNW and along centre line of fosse N->NE. A farm trackway runs across site in a N-S direction from N to SSW. Interior level, dry and clear of overgrowth.
