The National Monuments Service's description
In damp pasture, on slight W-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.95m; ext. H 2.1m), with external fosse (D 0.85m; Wth 1.9m) NW->W. Gap (Wth 0.8m) in bank at W. An E-W running field boundary crosses fosse at W, runs along outer base of bank W->NE and meets NE->SW running boundary which crosses fosse at NE. Level interior is partially covered by bushes and otherwise under rough pasture which is heavily poached by cattle.
