The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture. Circular area (diam. c. 25m) defined by scarped edge H 1.6m; Wth 1.1m) with an external fosse (D 1.5m; Wth 1.8m). Fosse and scarp covered by dump of earth and stones SW->SE which form bank (ext. H 2.4m); this material probably derived from levelled field boundary which formerly abutted enclosure at N. Field boundary runs along outer line of fosse at SSW. Interior level, dry and covered by dense overgrowth.
